MILWAUKEE – North Shore Bank today announced that it will debut its renovated El Rey branch on Tuesday, Nov. 12 with an official ribbon cutting, blessing and week-long celebration. The office, located inside of the El Rey Food Mart at 1320 West Burnham, has been serving the community for 15 years, when it became the first bank branch to be located in a metro Milwaukee ethnic supermarket. This renovation and continued investment is part of an ongoing commitment to the residents and businesses in the surrounding neighborhoods.

The bank will host a week-long celebration, open to the public, from Monday, Nov. 11 through Saturday, Nov. 16. Visitors can receive special deals and promotions and will be entered to win a brand-new iPad. Throughout the week, community members are also encouraged to drop off their canned donations to stock the shelves at the Milwaukee Christian Food Pantry. On Tuesday, Nov. 12 the bank will host a blessing and ribbon cutting at 9:30 a.m. to debut the new space.

“When we opened this branch in 2004, we were excited by the opportunity to serve and grow with this community,” said Alfredo Martin, branch manager. “We’re thrilled that 15 years later, our relationship and commitment to the residents and neighboring businesses is as strong as ever. This renovation and the updated offerings are just a small part in our continued investment in this community.”

The renovated branch features an open-concept lobby that allows for more personalized, convenient service and updated technology. It is fully staffed with a bilingual team, including concierge, bankers, a dedicated lender, and a branch manager.
