North Shore Bank’s Southside Dining Week Celebrates International Cuisine From 21 Area Restaurants

Community invited for Kick-Off Event at Zocalo Food Park on Oct. 23; Bank to provide qualifying customers $5 credit toward meal purchases

BROOKFIELD, Wis. – North Shore Bank today announced the final list of participating restaurants and menu items for the first-ever Southside Dining Week. The 21 restaurants are located across eleven of Milwaukee’s south side neighborhoods and feature a range of cuisine, all for under $15.

North Shore Bank’s Southside Dining Week, will kick off Saturday, Oct. 23, with a live band brunch at Zócalo Food Park from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. The brunch will feature food and drinks from Zocalo’s vendors, family activities, music from Bryan Cherry Duo, No Seatbelts and Felix Ramsey, and performances from Michelle Zamora & Zion Marion, Kenza Dawn, and more. The Live Band Brunch is presented by Mastercard®.

Following the kick-off event through Oct. 30, participating restaurants will feature a signature dish for under $15 throughout the week. Participating restaurants include Screaming Tuna, MobCraft Beer, Vientiane Noodle Shop, Orenda Café, Modern Maki, El Tsunami Taqueria Y Mariscos, Oscar’s Winner Circle, Damascus Gate and more. Featured menu items include one specialty item from each restaurant such as pho from Vientiane Noodle Shop, a Hot Flamin’ Burrito from Modern Maki, The Winner’s Burger from Oscar’s Winner Circle, and more.   • Modern Maki - Hot Flamin’ Burrito- Spicy tuna, spicy crab, eel, avocado, cucumber, and spicy hot flamin crunch.
