Area Teachers to "Dash for Cash" on Saturday, January 19

01/14/2019

The Green Bay Gamblers along with North Shore Bank present the Teachers Dash for Cash on Saturday, January 19, 7:05 p.m. This year a record $10,000 will be dumped at center ice for more than 30 area teachers to collect for their respective schools. Since 2013, Dash for Cash has raised more than $55,000 for Northeastern Wisconsin elementary, middle and high schools. Teachers were selected based on submitting their essay on “Why I should Dash for Cash.”

The Dash for Cash promotion takes place during the first intermission. A large carpet is placed at center ice and covered with 10,000 $1 bills.  Horn sounds to start the dash and anything goes as the teachers try to collect as much money as they can. The promotion ends when all the money is collected by the teachers.

The teachers get to keep all $10,000!

The participating schools also receive a portion of the night’s ticket sales.
