North Shore Bank to Host Holiday Open House Benefiting House of Hope

Visit with Santa Claus, have presents gift-wrapped for House of Hope


GREEN BAY – North Shore Bank today announced they will host a holiday open house from 2 to 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16, at the bank’s Howard-Suamico office at 1838 Cardinal Lane.

In honor of the holidays, visitors can bring their presents to be gift-wrapped for monetary donations to go to House of Hope.  The bank will also be accepting gift donations for House of Hope. Their wish list includes new items like diapers and baby wipes, slippers with hard bottoms, women’s and children’s socks and underwear, hooded towels, laundry and dish soap, no-spill sippy cups, non-perishable foods, postage stamps, bus passes, new toys (infant to seven years), hand sanitizers, twin size bedsheets and gently used items such as twin bed sheets and comforters, children’s shoes, children’s fall and winter clothing and young women’s fall and winter clothing.

“North Shore Bank is proud to work with the House of Hope,” said Tavie Folk, branch manager for North Shore Bank’s Howard-Suamico office. “We invite everyone to stop by, visit with Santa and kick off the holiday season with a donation for the families served by House of Hope.”

Attendees can bring their kids to visit with Santa Claus, enjoy holiday treats. While supplies last, each child will also be able to take home a free reindeer nose. Guests can also enter to win a $100 North Shore Bank gift card.

House of Hope is a shelter for homeless, pregnant and parenting women between the ages of 18 and 24 and their children. Since opening their doors in 2000, their mission has been to provide a safe, supportive place where young mothers learn to become confident adults and independent, successful parents. The House of Hope provides a positive support system for those served during the challenges and celebrations of their journey to stability.
