Neighborworks Green Bay Check Presentation - 2020The FHLB of Chicago Targeted Impact Fund provided North Shore Bank with grants to support relief efforts for populations hardest-hit by COVID-19 as well as to promote equity and opportunity for communities of color. North Shore Bank chose NeighborWorks Green Bay, a non-profit organization assisting the Green Bay community with homeownership preparation services, down payment and closing cost assistance lending, community-interest real estate development and more, as the area grant recipient. NeighborWorks will use the grant to work with their tenants impacted by job loss and reduction in earnings due to COVID-19 and develop services to meet their expressed needs.

“We have a strong commitment to the Green Bay area, and we know that NeighborWorks shares that passion for serving, educating and developing the community,” said Kristen Gagliano, vice president of compliance at North Shore Bank. “Through our growing partnership with NeighborWorks, we’ve been able to see firsthand the impact they’re making, and we can’t wait to see the effect this grant money will have on the community.”

In addition to these funds, North Shore Bank has sponsored numerous other FHLB grants and will continue to do so and is continuously looking for ways to support community partners.
