North Shore Bank to Host Series of Free, Bilingual Seminars on Boosting Credit

BROOKFIELD, Wis. – North Shore Bank today announced that it will host a series of free, bilingual seminars for people looking to learn how to boost their credit score. The seminars, which are open to the public, will be held in the community room at North Shore Bank’s Jackson Park office (4230 W. Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215). There will be three seminars that will be presented in both English and Spanish.

“As a community bank, we are consistently looking for ways to assist our customers and neighbors with their current needs, so when we heard and saw the need for credit-boosting tips, we knew we could take action by offering these free seminars,” said Alfredo Martin, area branch manager at North Shore Bank.

The seminars will feature a representative from Credit Matters, as well as North Shore Bank area branch manager, Alfredo Martin, and will focus on seven tips to boosting credit, including how to review your credit report, building payment history, protecting your identity and more.

The seminar schedule is as follows:
  • Thursday, Sept. 30 from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Thursday, Oct. 21 from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Thursday, Nov. 18 from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m.
