North Shore Bank to Host Series of Free, Virtual Bilingual Seminars on Financial Goals

Bilingual seminars available on Zoom following pandemic and increased need for financial planning
BROOKFIELD, Wis. – North Shore Bank today announced that it will host a series of free, virtual seminars for people looking to take control of their finances and learn steps needed to reach financial goals. The seminars, which are open to the public, will be held via Zoom. There will be seven seminars that will be presented in both English and Spanish.

“As a community bank, we saw the struggles that our customers and neighbors went through this pandemic, which is why we feel educating the public on smart financial planning is so crucial at this time,” said Alfredo Martin, branch manager at North Shore Bank. “We’re offering these bilingual seminars on Zoom so that everyone, regardless of location, can get the support and empowerment they need to support themselves financially.”

The seminar schedule is as follows:
  • Wednesday, May 26 at 6 p.m. - Understanding and Managing Personal Credit – Join North Shore Bank and Credit Matters to learn basics of personal credit and what it means to you and your business.
  • Wednesday, June 30 at 6 p.m. - Credit and Budgeting – Along with Credit Matters, North Shore Bank will discuss how to establish, build and repair credit. 
  • Wednesday, July 28 at 6 p.m. - Mortgage Pre-approval Process – North Shore Bank’s Mortgage Loan Professionals will share home lending tips and insight.
  • Wednesday, Aug. 25 at 6 p.m. - Banking That’s Convenient– Learn about the latest tools to make banking even easier.
  • Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 6 p.m. - Managing Your Bank Accounts – Discover easy tips to better manage money. 
  • Wednesday, Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. - Financial Goals– Learn about the steps you can take to meet your goals including setting a goal and sticking to a budget.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. - The Importance of Saving– Along with the Latino Entrepreneurial Network, learn why it’s important to set aside money in a savings account. 


All seminars are free and open to the public.
