On Halloween, North Shore Bank participated in the Village of Shorewood’s "Night of the Ghost Train" Halloween event, a community-wide celebration in honor of the Ghost Train's first anniversary. The event took place at the Corner Bakery Shorewood Cafe and Oak Leaf Trail Bridge, 1305 E. Capitol Drive in Shorewood.
The Twin Cities 400, operated by the Chicago and North Western Railway from 1935 to 1963, crossed Capitol Drive at the Oak Leaf Trail Bridge in Shorewood. The "Ghost Train" was an interactive exhibit last year that allowed visitors to imagine a trip on that train.
This year’s celebration featured a variety of events for all ages including a costume contest sponsored by North Shore Bank, a costume walk across the Oak Leaf Trail Bridge, a Ghost Train story contest, free refreshments, and a selfie station.
