North Shore Bank and Elavon Add PayPal In-Person Payment Options with Merchant Services

Great news! Now you can give your customers another payment option with PayPal in-person. There's nothing you or they need to do—merchant card processing accounts with Elavon have been automatically enabled to accept PayPal in-person payments. By offering PayPal as another payment option you can deliver more value and additional security to your customers.

Here’s how:

  • PayPal delivers new account holders to your business. PayPal is empowering their millions of active U.S. account holders to pay in-person using a brand they know and trust, with one of the industry's most recognized – and secure – digital wallets.
  • PayPal adds convenient and flexible payment options. PayPal customers will pay using the PayPal app on their smartphones or via PayPal card. Mobile payments can be accepted on any terminal that supports NFC (near field communication) tap-and-pay transactions. Card transactions can be accepted on most POS devices in the market today—just like other major card brands.

PayPal is just one of the many ways North Shore Bank and Elavon ensures your business can accept all payment types. Want to know about PayPal and how in-person payments will work? View FAQs or call your sales account executive for more information.
