North Shore Bank once again sponsored World Giraffe Day at the
Racine Zoo in June. Employees talked with zoo-goers about the bank’s commitment to the Zoo’s Giraffe Encounter and local family-friendly community activities. Fifty lucky people got the chance to feed the giraffes for free, courtesy of North Shore Bank. What a wonderful treat for those event attendees – and Racine Zoo giraffes, Bo and Mac.
Did you know that a giraffe’s tongue is about 18-20 inches long or that a giraffe’s front legs are 10% longer than their back legs? We encourage you to head to our Racine Zoo for a visit soon and meet them up close and in person.
