Bank Hosts Game Night at HALO

Game NightIn December our Northside and Westgate branch employees volunteered at Racine’s Homeless Assistance Leadership Organization (HALO, Inc.), holding a game night with the children at the facility. The kids enjoyed holiday snacks, homemade hot cocoa, and were able to meet our mascot, Seymour Savings. That evening a check was also presented to HALO in the amount of $225.44, which was the amount raised at North Shore Bank’s Racine County-wide chili cook-off earlier in the month. We thank everyone who participated in this fun event and donated money! View picture.

7th Annual Race for the Hungry Supports Local Food Pantries

Race for the HungryNorth Shore Bank hosted its seventh annual Race for the Hungry charitable competition at four Wisconsin supermarkets. The race challenges two teams to see which one can fill a shopping cart with the most food from the store’s aisles. The collected food then goes to a local food pantry, while the winning team receives a $100 gift card for groceries and the other team gets a $50 gift card. This year’s race brought in over $2,200 worth of groceries collected at our El Rey, Green Bay East, Howard, and Kenosha Festival Foods branches.
Many people, and the agencies that help them, have a tough time in the winter. During the holidays, the need is even higher. We’re honored to have the opportunity to help put much-needed food on local pantry shelves with North Shore Bank’s Race for the Hungry. This annual event is a fun way to help families in need. North Shore Bank is proud to host it and donate food to our local pantries. Read related article in the Green Bay Press Gazette. View El Rey pictures. View Green Bay East pictures.

North Shore Bank Branches Collect Toys for Tots

Toys for TotsBank offices in Kenosha and Racine Counties and Northeast Wisconsin accepted donations for the Marine “Toys for Tots” program. In Southeast Wisconsin, North Shore Bank partnered with the Racine Kenosha Builders Association once again in support of the annual drive.
The “Toys for Tots” program helps children in need by collecting toys, then distributing them to those who may not otherwise have a Christmas filled with gifts. Donated toys are new and in their original packaging with no gift wrap. “The Toys for Tots program is a great way to help all of the members in our community experience the joy of Christmas,” said Linda Tate, North Shore Bank Mortgage Loan Originator. “We were excited to lend support for this worthwhile cause.”
Thank you to all of you who donated items at our offices!
