Debbie Cottone Retirement

After starting her banking career 45 years ago, Greendale Branch Manager Debbie Cottone recently retired. Debbie joined North Shore Bank last year when the bank acquired Layton State Bank. During her career she held titles including teller operations manager, personal banker, assistant vice president, and vice president and branch manager.

Debbie says that among her favorite memories are all the different people she met throughout her career. “Some have become lifelong friends, and I have had the pleasure of watching their families grow and the honor of helping them through their grief.”

“Debbie has been wonderful to work with and a great supporter of her customers and her team,” says her District Manager Lauri Lunde. “I know that both her customers and employees will miss working with her, as will I. We wish her and her family all of the best.”

Debbie advises newcomers to the financial industry: “Be a partner with your customer in helping them reach their financial goals. Your help today will impact their future tomorrow!”

That’s sound advice that all of us at North Shore Bank aim to achieve with every customer interaction we encounter. In appreciation of Debbie’s exceptional service, the bank donated $1,500 to the Greendale Education Foundation in her honor.
