Bank Celebrates New Green Bay West Office with Ribbon Cutting, Grand Opening

Our new Green Bay West location (1620 W. Mason St.) is officially open for business, after a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 3 and a grand opening celebration on June 6.
Commercial Banking Vice President Grant Schilling, District Manager Kerri Collins, Branch Manager Sharon Hack, Assistant Branch Manager Hali Thompson, President and COO Jay McKenna, Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt, and Dan Perron, and Director of the Military Avenue Business Association, officially cut the ribbon on our new location.
Saturday’s grand opening featured the Green Bay Kickers Soccer Club, along with a brat fry, a bounce house, and a “micro petting zoo” with a miniature horse and some donkeys. Guests could also paint picture frames as Father’s Day or graduation gifts and enjoy other activities.
The new Green Bay branch offers customers our signature high-touch service combined with the latest technological advances, including a drive-up video teller with extended hours, tablet technology, video conferencing capabilities with mortgage experts, and more. If you’re in the neighborhood, please stop in for a tour!

North Shore Bank Participated in 65th Appleton Flag Day Parade

The 65th Annual Appleton Flag Day Parade was held on June 13 and it was a tribute to the U.S. Navy and honored the many faces of freedom. The Parade featured military units and military marching bands from throughout the nation — and included about 100 total units displaying patriotic themes. North Shore Bank participated with a float and we collected worn U.S. flags at our Fox Valley offices from June 1 through June 15 for honorable retirement. The American flag is a paramount symbol of patriotism, and we are proud to help respectfully dispose of them.

Bank Cheers on Shorewood Criterium Cycling Classic Kids Roll

Our Shorewood offices cheered on local children who took part in the Criterium Cycling Classic Kids Roll. At the 7th Annual bike race, the bank handed out free patriotic bike kits to kids in time for them to ready their bikes for upcoming Fourth of July festivities. Everyone had fun taking a chance to play the iPad Prize Wheel too. It was a beautiful night for biking!

Sussex Race for the Hungry

Boy and Girl Scouts rushed through the Sussex Piggly Wiggly store’s aisles, filling shopping carts with food to be distributed to children in need by the SOS Sussex Food Pantry. Thank you to the local boys and girls who dashed through the aisles gathering food in our "Race for the Hungry!" It really warms our heart knowing that together we are able to help some kids receive healthy meals this summer. All the food collected will go to the food pantry, which will distribute it to kids who need lunches during the summer, when school is out.

North Shore Bank Hat Night at the Timber Rattlers Game

On June 5, the first 1,000 fans to enter the stadium received a free North Shore Bank/Timber Rattlers baseball cap. Bank employees greeted fans and handed out hats. We are proud sponsors of Family Night at every Friday home game in Appleton during the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers 2015 season, and we hope to see you at an upcoming game soon. Family Nights feature a giveaway, fireworks, and the chance for kids to run the bases after the game.

North Shore Bank Sponsors Racine Zoo Giraffe Encounter

As part of our extended partnership, North Shore Bank is proud to officially be named as the first-ever Giraffe Encounter sponsor at the Racine Zoo. A ribbon cutting and presentation took place June 22 where Racine Zoo Executive Director Beth Heidorn presented Racine Branch Managers Jenny Meyer and Lisa Brooks with a painting by Bo, one of the giraffes, and a certificate commemorating the ribbon cutting.
Dodging downpours, bank employees and their families also enjoyed meeting and feeding both giraffes, Bo and Mac. The Giraffe Encounter is a wonderful way to experience two of the zoo’s most popular residents. We hope people will visit the zoo to see them and all the amazing animals at our Racine Zoo.
