Shorewood Ribbon Cutting Makes Office Opening OfficialWe celebrated the grand opening of our new Shorewood office with a VIP ribbon-cutting event on July 31. Community officials joined bank staff and customers to celebrate the new building’s opening and North Shore Bank’s founding 95 years ago in the Village of Shorewood in 1923.

Above, branch manager Shannon Weber cut the ribbon with Shorewood Village President Allison Rozek and North Shore Bank Chairman and CEO Jim McKenna. The $100 in cash that created the ribbon went to the Shorewood Historical Society.

At the event, we also unveiled the branch’s bike rack, which was designed and created by students from Shorewood High School. Check out the new bike rack and other pictures from the event.

The week that followed was comprised of a variety of Grand Opening events and activities, including prize drawings, giveaways, an ice cream social, informational sessions, and a 95th birthday party. View pictures from the weeklong festivities.
