Community Fun at Halloween Fest in Cudahy

Our Cudahy office hosted a Halloween Family Fest full of free and fun activities. The first 50 kids took home free pumpkins to decorate and there were delicious seasonal treats for everyone to sample. For each bowl of chili purchased, $1 was donated to the American Cancer Society. Guests even had the chance to participate in a Zumba class while wearing their Halloween costumes! View pictures.

Bank's 14th Annual Worn Flag Collection Benefited Honor Flight Organizations

In October we encouraged people to drop-off their worn and tattered American flags at any of our offices during our bank wide collection. Any flags that were dropped off were ensured to receive honorable retirement. Once again this year, we worked with local Boy Scout troops to prepare the flags and present them to veterans for respectful retirement in Veterans Day ceremonies in Green Bay and Brookfield.
The bank also pledged to donate $1 per flag (up to $1,000) to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight in Southeast Wisconsin and Old Glory Honor Flight in Northeast Wisconsin. These organizations help fly veterans to their respective memorials in Washington D.C. We are thrilled to report that the community challenge was met and North Shore Bank gave each Honor Flight group $1,000!
Additionally, our corporate office employees held a Veterans Day fundraiser and raised nearly an additional $1,000 to help send veterans to Washington D.C. We are grateful for the service of our veterans and proud thrilled to be able to hold this event each year. View event pictures.

North Shore Bank Family Free Day at the Milwaukee County Zoo

Family Free Day at the Milwaukee County Zoo was a hit once again in November. The community took advantage of this great opportunity and there were over 8,000 people who visited the zoo. If you missed out on November’s free day, don’t worry you’ll have another opportunity next month on December 5th!
