Dash for Cash 2018

On Saturday, January 20, Green Bay Gamblers Hockey and North Shore Bank teamed up to raise $14,358 for local Green Bay area high, middle, and elementary schools during Teachers Dash for Cash. At the game a record high $8,500 was tossed on a large carpet at center ice at the first intermission for 32 area teachers to collect for their respective schools.

At the sound of the horn, the teachers raced to collect as much money as they could for their school. The dash ended when every dollar was claimed. Participating schools also received a portion to the night’s ticket sales.

This year 32 teachers representing the communities of Ashwaubenon, Brillion, Coleman, DePere, Green Bay, Greenville, Hortonville, Howard, Kewaunee, Kimberly, Marinette, Mishicot, New London, Pulaski, Suamico and Wrightstown collected various amounts for their school. The teachers were selected by their essay “Why I Should Dash for Cash.”

Please join us and the Gamblers again on March 17, 2018 to raise funds for the American Heart Association at that evening’s game. We hope to see you there! View event pictures.
