02/06/2015

On Monday, Feb. 2, local Girl Scouts Troop 4026 from Green Bay visited North Shore Bank’s Green Bay East branch to learn about financial literacy, banking technology, women in business and more. It’s all part of an effort for the girls to earn their My Money badge.

The girls will had the chance to work with branch manager Lisa Sment and operate one of the first video teller units in Wisconsin. They also are learning how to start a small business, hear about business career paths for women, and receive important financial literacy tips from North Shore Bank experts.

It is great to help the Girl Scouts pursue their My Money badge, teach them more about banking and business. Financial literacy skills are important for children to learn so that they can successfully management and save their money.
