I set up an external transfer in the Personal Mobile App or Online Banking. What if I change my mind and no longer wish to make the transfer?

You may cancel an external transfer as long as it’s not in a pending status. Once it appears in your account as pending, it cannot be canceled.

For external transfers, a maximum of five external accounts may be set up in the Personal Mobile App and Online Banking.

Yes, for your protection, there is a daily and rolling 30-day limit on transfers to external accounts. To view your available limits, log in to the Mobile App or Online Banking, and select the icon next to the Amounts field to view your available limits.

When you use North Shore Bank's personal Mobile App or Online Banking to transfer money, there may be a fee depending on the type of transfer:
  • Standard transfers to an external account are free
  • Next-day transfers to an external account incur a $3 fee per transfer
  • There is no fee for transferring money into your North Shore Bank accounts from an external financial institution
  • There is also no fee for transferring money between North Shore Bank accounts

First, verify with other accountholders that they did not initiate the transfer. If they did not, contact Customer Support.
