As approved in December 2020 legislation, Covid-19 relief funds are available through the SBA’s Paycheck Protection Program.
Note that the applications are different for first-draw borrowers and second-draw borrowers.
Completed applications will be processed in the order they are received as an existing North Shore Bank customer.
After submitting your application, you will receive an automatic email confirming receipt of your documents. Please do not reply to this email. An assigned North Shore Bank lender will follow up with you if there are additional questions or if something is missing from the request. All applications are subject to review based on the guidelines set by the SBA and North Shore Bank.
Once we have all completed documents, North Shore Bank will underwrite your request. If approved, the bank will then submit your information to the SBA, who will review, approve and assign you a loan number. No loans will be funded until the final approval is received from the SBA.
At this time, due to the high volume of interest, North Shore Bank will only offer PPP loans to existing business customers who have an established their banking relationship with the bank prior to January 1, 2021.
We appreciate your patience, as we anticipate a large volume of requests for the use of this program. Know that North Shore Bank understands the challenges caused by the COVID-19 virus and we are here to help.
