Flags to be honorably retired during annual Veterans Day flag retirement ceremony

BROOKFIELD, Wis. – North Shore Bank today announced it will collect worn and tattered American flags from Oct. 5 to Oct. 23 and will work with the local American Legion and Boy Scouts troops to respectfully dispose of the flags during a special Veterans Day flag retirement ceremony in November.

The bank is also accepting public contributions to help send Wisconsin veterans to Washington D.C. The funds will be presented during the bank’s Appleton flag retirement ceremony in November.
