North Shore Bank to Complete Conversion of Former Bank of Kenosha Offices on Sept. 23

Official transfer includes change in signage and expanded services for customers


BROOKFIELD, Wis. – North Shore Bank today announced that it will complete the conversion of its former Bank of Kenosha offices on Monday, Sept. 23. North Shore Bank was selected by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) to purchase Bank of Kenosha in May 2013. Under the terms of that agreement, North Shore Bank purchased selected Bank of Kenosha assets and assumed the bank’s deposits.

With the official conversion, customers of the former Bank of Kenosha now have access to all North Shore Bank benefits and services, said Susan Doyle, vice president for North Shore Bank. Additionally, new North Shore Bank signage will be installed at the former Bank of Kenosha branches.

“Our newest customers will now benefit from even more convenient locations and other expanded facilities and services provided by our community-minded bank,” she said. “These benefits include more than 23,000 completely free MoneyPass ATMs nationwide; 47 offices throughout eastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois; and mobile banking with mobile deposit. Customers will also have access to free online banking, including eAlerts, eStatements and Bill Pay, plus Popmoney person-to-person payments.”

North Shore Bank now operates three locations in Kenosha – 5117 Green Bay Road, 6906 Green Bay Road and, 8056 39th Avenue, which is set for relocation to the new Kenosha Festival Foods at 3207 80th Street in December.
