North Shore Bank Collects Worn Flags for Retirement

Collection takes place June 1 through June 15, 2015


BROOKFIELD, Wis. – North Shore Bank today announced it will collect worn and tattered American flags in honor of Flag Day from June 1 to 15 and will work with the local American Legion to respectfully dispose of the flags.

“The American flag is a paramount symbol of patriotism, and we are proud to host this collection,” said Kerri Collins, district manager for North Shore Bank’s North Region. “In honor of Flag Day, we invite our community members to drop off worn and tattered flags for respectful retirement.”

Damaged and worn flags will be collected at all North Shore Bank branches in the Fox Valley area, including Appleton Northland (1100 W. Northland Ave.) and Menasha (1500 Appleton Rd.) through June 15.
