North Shore Bank to Host "Paws and Claws" Event in Mequon on Aug. 8

BROOKFIELD, Wis. – North Shore Bank today announced it will host the second annual “Paws and Claws” event at the bank’s Mequon branch (10806 N. Port Washington Rd) from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, August 8.

The free, educational pet event is open to the public (and their animal companions) and will include a free hot dog lunch, pet activities like bobbing for hot dogs, a free pet-friendly gift, free nail clippings by The Feed Bag and the chance to talk with experts from East Town Veterinary Clinic, The Feed Bag and The Lovin’ Oven Bakery.

Guests can also enter to win $50 to spend at The Feed Bag, and all attendees are invited to drop off donation items to support to Ozaukee County Humane Society. Items of need include aquariums, baby wipes, cat and dog food, toys, treats, digital thermometers, cotton balls, Q-tips, dog harnesses, trash bags, hand sanitizer, grooming clippers, lint rollers and other pet care items.
