Local Teachers to Dash for Cash

(Green Bay, WI) – On Saturday, February 22, 12 area school teachers will “Dash for Cash” at the Green Bay Gamblers game.  Presented by North Shore Bank, the “Dash for Cash” promotion consists of $5,000, in dollar bills, being placed at center ice.  The contestants have 20 seconds to collect as much money as they can.
 
All proceeds collected by the teachers and coaches will be given directly to the participating schools.  The teachers were selected based on their essay “Why I should Dash for Cash”.  The list of teachers and the schools they represent include:
 
  1. Amy Collins – Wrightstown High School
  2. Amy Phillips - Kimberly High School
  3. Autumn Dickie – Green Bay West High School
  4. Ben Wolf – Pulaski Middle School
  5. David Winkler – Wrightstown High School
  6. Dean Lamers – Kimberly High School
  7. Jeff Griffey – Valders High School
  8. Kim Noe – Pulaski High School
  9. Kip Karakas – Green Bay Public Schools
  10. Matt Hansen – Marinette Middle School
  11. Thomas Ellenbecker – Mishicot High School
  12. Thomas Sebranek – Green Bay Southwest High School
 
February 22 is also a family night, featuring $1.00 hot dogs and $1.00 soda.  Game time is 7:05 PM.  For group rates contact the Gamblers Group hotline at 405-1265.
