North Shore Bank Hosts Kids Day Fox Valley Event on May 2

BROOKFIELD, Wis. – North Shore Bank today announced that it will host its annual Kids Day Fox Valley event on Saturday, May 2 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the north parking lot of Shopko Plaza in Menasha (441 and Appleton Rd.).

During the free event, families are invited to learn about health and safety issues that affect the community, including crime prevention, Internet safety, healthy living and more. Children can also enjoy inflatable bouncers, face painting, karate demonstrations, a NEW Zoo animal meet and greet and more.

Representatives from various organizations will be on site to share relevant safety information, including WFRV Chief Meteorologist Luke Sampe, who will conduct a special weather safety presentation at noon. In addition, families who complete 12 of the 15 of the safety information stations can enter to win one of 30 free bicycles and helmets.

“At North Shore Bank we strive to be an asset to the communities we serve,” said Deb Cumming, Menasha branch manager. “Kids Day Fox Valley is a fun way for us to share important health and safety information with our community and we encourage families to attend this great event.”

Food and refreshments will be available for purchase. Attendees can also meet mascots, including North Shore Bank’s Seymour Savings, Timber Rattlers’ Fang, McGruff the Crime Dog and the Ice Dogs’ Frostbite.
