North Shore Bank Marks 10 Years in Sussex with Community Celebration

North Shore Bank Marks 10 Years in Sussex

Our Sussex branch celebrated its 10th Anniversary on Saturday, October 22, and featured free pumpkins for kids, seasonal refreshments, and prize giveaways, including a $200 Piggly Wiggly gift card, a $100 gas card and a $50 North Shore Bank gift card. Kids enjoyed jumping in the bouncy house, viewing of the Sussex Fire Department’s equipment, playing outdoor games and more.
"We love being part of the Sussex community and are so grateful to all of those who have contributed to our success here,” said Candy Walecki, branch manager for North Shore Bank’s Sussex office. “We enjoyed having our friends and neighbors stop by to enjoy the celebration and accept our thanks.”
The bank held a grilled lunch fundraiser with all proceeds benefiting the Hamilton High School Robotics Club who helped prepare the food. In addition, the Sussex Girl Scouts invited guests to observe their water conservation activity, and attendees were invited drop off tattered flags, which the bank will retire honorably on Veterans Day, Friday, November 11.

Leading up to the event, the Sussex community was also encouraged to stop into the bank branch and view photos from honor flight participants. Local historian Fred Keller was on hand to offer insight to the Honor Flight organization’s traveling Art Display.
