MLK Employees

Employees at our Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive office recently helped save a customer’s life, as reported in a story by Milwaukee’s Fox6 News.

Our employees noticed that they hadn’t seen an eighty-year-old customer who usually stops in at the branch a couple times each week. They got in touch with his niece and later called Social Services.

When the niece checked on her uncle, who suffers from blood clots in his lungs, she found him in bad shape and called emergency services to get him into a hospital immediately. We are happy to report that our customer has recovered. He is up and around and back to his regular visits.

Branch Manager Krystynn Taylor told Fox6: “We do form relationships with the people in our community and make sure that we’re uplifting each other and looking out for each other.” Krystynn said she felt “so relieved” that Sylvester was doing better, thanks to her staff’s concern.
