Subtraction errors. Forgotten withdrawals. When it comes to managing the money in your checking account, we know mistakes can happen. What's more, when you add Overdraft Protection to your checking account, we'll cover you when they do.

With Overdraft Protection, when you make a withdrawal that results in a negative balance in your checking account, we'll automatically transfer funds from another North Shore Bank account to cover the balance.

Overdraft Protection is a great way to protect yourself against the large fees merchants may charge for bounced checks, and it's available for just a small fee. Overdraft Protection is not available for our Better-Than-Free Checking accounts.
