North Shore Bank to Host Brat Fry Fundraiser in Menasha

Community event to raise awareness of the dangers of drunk driving and collect donations for “Plz...Give the Keys!”

MENASHA, Wis. – North Shore Bank today announced that it will host a brat fry fundraiser on Friday, Sept. 2, at its Menasha branch, located at 1500 Appleton Road. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and all proceeds will support a local community foundation that works to bring awareness to the dangers of drunk driving, “Plz…Give the Keys!”

“Drinking and driving is not something to take lightly, and we are proud to support “Plz…Give the Keys!” in its mission to remind drivers of the potentially deadly consequences if they drink and don't give up their keys,” said Deb Cumming, branch manager at the Menasha North Shore Bank. “We invite everyone to help us support this foundation, learn more about the dangers of driving drunk and enjoy a brat or two while doing so.”

North Shore Bank will also donate $50 to “Plz…Give the Keys!” for every person that opens a checking account at the Menasha branch through Sept. 30, 2011. The new account holders will also receive $50 in their checking account. “Plz…Give the Keys!” helps honor three children’s lives – Arielle Lewandowski, Paige Riley-Berg and Samuel T. Goudy – who were hit and killed by a drunk driver on June 19, 2009.
