North Shore Bank Encourages Others to 'Take the Pledge & Win'
Public invited to teach children to save money and enter prize drawing
BROOKFIELD, Wis. – North Shore Bank today announced its “Take the Pledge & Win” contest, which encourages others to pledge to teach children to save. The contest runs until May 11, and anyone who takes the pledge on the bank’s website will be entered in a drawing for a pair of tickets to see Taylor Swift live at the Bradley Center, a free one-night stay at Chula Vista Resort & Spa in Wisconsin Dells, VIP suite tickets to a Wisconsin Timber Rattlers baseball game and various other prizes.
“We at North Shore Bank hope to give our community’s children a head start for a great financial future,” said Sue Doyle, vice president for North Shore Bank. "Learning the value of saving at a young age helps instill the importance of planning ahead – for college, for a house or just for a new book or bike.”
North Shore Bank also offers children ages 12 and younger a no-minimum-balance, interest-building savings account. Children whose parents and grandparents sign them up for this savings account during the campaign period will receive $5 in their account from North Shore Bank and a plush Seymour Savings stuffed animal.
