North Shore Bank's Mequon Office and Lakeshore Flooring Plan Free, Fun-filled 1st Birthday Party on Saturday, August 21
Free family event includes petting zoo, massages, crafts, hot dog bar, cupcakes, prizes and more
MEQUON – North Shore Bank today announced that it and Lakeshore Flooring, neighbors in the shopping center next to Stein Garden and Gifts on North Port Washington Rd., will hold a free family festival on Saturday, Aug. 21, to celebrate the businesses’ first anniversary in Mequon. The celebration will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and include a petting zoo, children’s activities, refreshments, massages, an iPad giveaway and much more.
“We are excited to be marking our first year in Mequon,” said Jodi Conrad, manager of the branch at 10806 N. Port Washington Road. “We’re so proud to be part of this terrific community, and we wanted to do something big to celebrate with our friends and neighbors here in Ozaukee County.”
The day’s events include:
- 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Ozaukee County Humane Society pet visits, bouncy house and kids’ activities.
Massages every 10 minutes by RiverCrest Chiropractic at North Shore Bank. - 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Face painting and crafts at Lakeshore Flooring.
- 10 a.m. to noon: WMYX radio remote with Kidd O’Shea. Family Farm petting zoo and JavaFit Coffee Tasting at North Shore Bank.
- 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Hot dog bar at Lakeshore Flooring; cupcakes and beverages at North Shore Bank.
The first 100 guests will receive free reusable shopping bags. Drawings will be held every half-hour for prizes, including a grand prize iPad. North Shore Bank will also offer account specials – including up to $150 free cash with a new checking account and 1.25% APY for six months when you open a High Yield Savings or Money Market Account. Details will be available at the branch.
