North Shore Bank To Open Branch in Mequon This Summer

Branch, in new shopping center, will be bank’s 44th

BROOKFIELD, Wis. – North Shore Bank today announced that it will open a full-service branch in Mequon this summer. The branch, to be located in a shopping center now under construction at 10800 N. Port Washington Road, will be the bank’s 44th overall and the second in Ozaukee County.

The bank opened a temporary branch in Grafton last fall and anticipates finishing construction of its permanent Grafton branch this spring.

“Ozaukee County has proven to be an outstanding location for North Shore Bank and it makes good business sense to expand our presence here with a new branch in Mequon,” said Darrel Eisenhardt, North Shore Bank’s vice president of branch administration. “Our Grafton office is doing extremely well, and we look forward to serving even more Ozaukee County customers who prefer doing business with a strong, locally owned, community-focused institution like North Shore Bank.”

The Mequon branch will be more than 2,000 square feet and feature a drive-up lane, drive-up ATM and commercial night depository, Eisenhardt said.

North Shore Bank, headquartered in Brookfield, is one of the strongest banks in the country. It has assets of $1.7 billion and 43 offices throughout eastern Wisconsin and northeastern Illinois. Current Wisconsin branch locations are in metro Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Appleton, Menasha, the Green Bay area, Burlington, Union Grove and Door County. North Shore Bank also has two Illinois State Bank offices in McHenry County, Ill. The bank opened its 43rd office in Grafton, Wis., in October and is building its 44th office in Mequon, Wis.
