Race for the Hungry, Win Free Groceries at North Shore Bank's Supermarket Branches
Branches in Green Bay, DePere, Howard, Appleton, and Milwaukee are accepting donations of non-perishables for local food pantries through December
BROOKFIELD – North Shore Bank today announced that guests at its supermarket branches in Green Bay, Howard, DePere, Appleton, and El Rey's Foodmart in Milwaukee can enter for a chance to "Race for the Hungry," a fun way to help support a local food pantry and win free groceries. Each in-store branch will select two entrants to race through the supermarket aisles to fill food pantry wish lists. The winners will receive a $100 grocery gift card and the runners-up, a $50 card.
The branches will also accept donations of non-perishable food items for the pantry throughout the month of December.
People can enter to "Race for the Hungry" through Dec. 23 at the following North Shore Bank branches. Two racers will be selected from each store.

- Howard Piggly Wiggly, 2465 Lineville Road
- DePere Piggly Wiggly, 575 Swan Road
- Northland Ave./Festival Foods, 1100 W. Northland Ave.
- El Rey Foodmart in Milwaukee, 1320 W. Burnham St.
The races will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, at each supermarket. All items collected during the race will feed local families.
"The Race for the Hungry is a great way to have a lot of fun and help people in need in our community," said Kerri Collins, district manager for the bank. "We encourage everyone to take part, help the food pantry in their area, and maybe even win some free groceries."
