North Shore Bank to Host Family Fest in Ashwaubenon

Event will feature fire department smokehouse tours, car wash, instruments for children to play, and hundreds of dollars in prizes

BROOKFIELD – North Shore Bank today announced that it will host Family Fest on Friday, Aug. 21, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at its Ashwaubenon branch. The event, at 2215 S. Oneida St., will feature smokehouse and fire truck tours with the Ashwaubenon Fire Department, a car wash benefiting the Ashwaubenon Cheer Squad, and great prizes throughout the day.

“This annual event is a fun way for us to give something back to our community and let our customers know how much we appreciate their business throughout the year,” said Julie Olson, branch manager of North Shore Bank’s Ashwaubenon office. “Children especially always have a great time at Family Fest, and this is an activity for whole families to share before kids go back to school.”

People who visit Family Fest throughout the day will also have a chance to win hundreds of dollars in prizes and gift cards from event sponsors like Build-A-Bear, Infolkus Studios, the Little Gym, Heid Music, Red Robin, Picture People, Coldstone Creamery, Glass Nickel Pizza, Cousins Subs and North Shore Bank. Prizes include a family four-pack to the Milwaukee County Zoo, free fuel, and more. Free food and refreshments will also be available at Family Fest.

Additionally, Olson said Heid Music will make instruments available for children to try out, and people have a chance to get a free cooler when they open a new checking account with North Shore Bank.
