North Shore Bank To Participate in MoneySmart Night in Pulaski

PULASKI, Wis. - As part of Money Smart Week Wisconsin, a Council created by Governor Doyle to help improve financial literacy in Wisconsin, North Shore Bank will be participating in MoneySmart Night from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at Pulaski High School. Money Smart Wisconsin is designed to help residents better manage their finances and provide awareness of financial education programs that are available throughout the state.

North Shore Bank will hold MoneySmart Night financial education programs on the following topics:

  • Consolidate Debt and Be in Control of Your Money
  • Wise Use of Credit and Understanding Your Credit Score
  • Credit Card Use and Abuse
  • How to Start Saving With Little Money
  • Mortgage How To's
  • Save for Your Retirement

Each session will last 40 minutes. Participants will be able to choose up to three sessions to attend during the event.

Activities and oversight of Money Smart Week Wisconsin are conducted by the Office of Financial Literacy (OFL) of the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions and by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. There are a variety of community groups and business involved in the Pulaski event, including the Pulaski Police Department and PACE (Pulaski Alliance for Community Education.
