North Shore Bank Presented With "Successfully Sussex Award"
Award honors bank's community service and commitment
SUSSEX, Wis. - North Shore Bank today announced that it has received the "Successfully Sussex Award" presented by the Village of Sussex. The award recognizes the bank's contributions, accomplishments and dedication to making Sussex a better place to live, work and play.
"We are truly honored and excited about receiving this award," said Candy Walecki, North Shore Bank's Sussex branch manager. "Community involvement is very important to North Shore Bank. Sussex is really an amazing place to be and we are proud to be part of it."
The award encourages individuals or groups to take actions to improve the community of Sussex while maintaining its small village charm. The Village of Sussex, Village Board and Village President presented the award to the North Shore Bank Sussex branch, which is located at W249 N6600 Hwy 164. North Shore Bank received recognition for its donations to the 2007 and 2008 Sussex Fireworks as well as its community involvement at many other Village events.
"It's nice to have organizations and individuals who have a true interest in their community," said Evan Teich, Sussex Village Administrator. "North Shore Bank is one of those community-conscious businesses that have taken the extra step to help improve our village."
