North Shore Bank To Hold Youth 'Dash For Cash Night' at Green Bay Gamblers Hockey Game

Bank will match “grab” amount and make donation to the Autism Society of Wisconsin

GREEN BAY, Wis. – North Shore Bank today announced that it will be holding a “Dash for Cash” night for area youth at a Green Bay Gamblers hockey game on Jan. 2, 2009. Potential participants can register for the event online at northshorebank.com through Dec. 29.

Eighteen children ages 4-10 will be chosen to participate in the “Dash for Cash.” Children will have the opportunity to collect cash flying from a pile of money on a large piece of carpet at the ice center. Participants are encouraged to save their “dashed cash” in a Seymour Savings account, which is a children’s savings program. North Shore Bank will double each child’s winnings when they open a new Seymour Savings account at the bank.

In addition, North Shore Bank will match the total dollar amount that the kids collect and donate it to the Autism Society of Wisconsin, a nonprofit organization committed to providing awareness and support for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Wisconsin.

“North Shore Bank prides itself on helping the communities we serve,” said Tricia Cravillion, vice president and district manager for the bank’s Northeast region. “We are always looking for ways to encourage children to save money, and at the same time, we are pleased to have the opportunity to show support for great community-minded organizations like the Autism Society of Wisconsin.”

Winners will be notified on Dec. 30. They will participate in the ‘Dash for Cash’ and receive a T-shirt and four tickets to the Green Bay Gamblers game on Jan. 2. Entrants must be 18 years of age to enter and only one entry per child will be accepted.
