Green Bay Area Youth Hockey Association Receives $550 Donation From North Shore Bank
Proceeds from Green Bay Gamblers in "human bowling" raise money for youth hockey team
GREEN BAY, Wis. - North Shore Bank today announced that it will donate $550 in proceeds from its Green Bay Gamblers human bowling promotion to the Green Bay Area Youth Hockey Association, a local non-profit volunteer organization that teaches children about hockey.
"North Shore Bank works hard to make a difference in the communities we serve and we're glad to have this opportunity to support the Green Bay Area Youth Hockey Association," said Tricia Cravillion, vice president and district manager for the bank's Northeast region. "We believe that it's important to support local organizations, especially ones that teach children to learn and grow."
Human bowling participants were chosen through drawings at North Shore Bank branches in the Green Bay area and Door County. Participants acted as bowling balls by sitting in plastic saucers that were slung-shot across the ice in an attempt to knock down inflatable bowling pins. For each pin knocked down, North Shore Bank donated $10 to the Green Bay Area Youth Hockey Association.
