North Shore Bank To Sponsor Village Of Sussex Fourth Of July Activities

BROOKFIELD, Wis. - North Shore Bank today announced it will sponsor the Village of Sussex's 2007 Fourth of July activities, including the annual Kiddie Parade and fireworks.

"We are excited to be involved with such an important community event that is celebrated and enjoyed by thousands of people every summer," said Candy Walecki, branch manager for North Shore Bank's Sussex branch. "The bank is committed to taking an active role in the communities where we have branches and where our customers and employees live and work. So, getting involved with the Sussex Fourth of July festivities is just one way we are able to give back and demonstrate our commitment to going above and beyond. We look forward to celebrating July 4 with our friends and neighbors in the community."

The Village of Sussex's Fourth of July activities will begin with the Kiddie Parade at 9:30 a.m. The parade starts at the Village Hall and ends at the Village Park where an ice cream social will take place and the fireworks begin at dusk. Thousands of people from throughout the area view the fireworks display each year and are expected to descend upon the park again this July.

"We would like to thank North Shore Bank for their sponsorship of our Fourth of July activities and are excited about what is planned for this year," said Meagan Kula, director of recreational services for the Village of Sussex. "The Independence Day celebration is a fun day for the whole family, and we hope that many members of this community will mark their calendars and once again take part in the festivities."
