SUSSEX, Wis. - North Shore Bank today announced that the Village of Sussex recently presented the bank with a plaque for its sponsorship of the village's Fourth of July activities. Candy Walecki, manager for North Shore Bank's Sussex branch, accepted the plaque at the village board meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 14, from Village President Anthony Lapcinski.
According to the plaque, North Shore Bank is recognized for its "valuable participation" in the village's Fourth of July activities.
"We are pleased to have been able to work with the village to bring these activities to the community's Fourth of July celebration," said Walecki. "It was a pleasure working with Village Administrator Evan Teich and Director of Recreational Services Meagan Kula, and we look forward to collaborating with the village again in the future."
Hundreds of children entered the parade in the morning and thousands of people gathered in the park in the evening to watch the fireworks display.
