North Shore Bank To Open New Branch in Oak Creek On October 1


Dexter to lead branch staff


BROOKFIELD, Wis. - North Shore Bank today announced that its new, full-service bank branch at 8701 S. Howell Ave in Oak Creek will open for business on October 1. The 2,500-square-foot bank features a two-lane drive-up, a drive-up ATM and commercial night depository.

"We are excited to be opening this new branch in Oak Creek on Howell Avenue, which continues to be a growing, thriving area," said David Griffith, District Manager for the bank's south region. "We're glad to be a new neighbor in Oak Creek. North Shore Bank customers will be able to take care of all of their banking needs here, including opening new accounts, applying for loans, learning about alternative investments and more. This branch will allow us to better meet the needs of our customers who live and work in and around Oak Creek."

The new bank building also has room for retail tenants, and two businesses will be housed in the facility.

Janet Dexter is the branch manager for the new Oak Creek bank. Dexter has been with North Shore Bank for more than two years and most recently served as branch manager at the bank's West Allis location. She is a resident of Racine. Krisan Elkins, who has been with North Shore Bank in various positions for the past six years, will be the assistant branch manager/customer service supervisor. Elkins is a resident of Kansasville.

Other staff members include:
  Cortney Heckel - Heckel will serve as a personal banker and is a resident of Waukesha.
  Jim Koch - Koch is the lead customer service representative and a resident of Milwaukee.
  Christina Brueggeman - Brueggeman is a customer service representative and resident of Franklin.

Special grand opening activities for the Oak Creek branch will be held in late October. Details will be announced later this month.
