North Shore Bank to Build New Branch in Oak Creek
Bank building to include full-service branch, retail businesses
BROOKFIELD, Wis. - North Shore Bank today announced it will construct a new building - featuring a full-service bank branch and space for retail business - at 8701 S. Howell Ave. in Oak Creek. Construction on the building is expected to begin later this winter, and the branch is scheduled to open in early fall.
"We're very excited to expand North Shore Bank's presence by adding this brand new branch in Oak Creek," said Stephen J. Steiner, the bank's senior vice president. "This is great news for our bank and for our many customers who live and work in Oak Creek and Milwaukee's south suburbs. Howell Avenue is a growing, vibrant area, and it's a terrific location for us. Our customers will be able to take care of all of their banking needs - from checking and savings, home equity and first mortgage lending, to alternate investments - with ease and convenience."
The 2,500 -square-foot Oak Creek branch will feature a two-lane drive-up, a drive-up ATM and commercial night depository. The bank is currently working with potential tenants for the retail space.
"We're looking forward to being part of the Oak Creek community," Steiner said. "We're looking for strong partners and tenants, and want our building and our business to be an asset to the city and its people."
The Oak Creek branch will be North Shore Bank's 18th in metro Milwaukee and 40th statewide.
