North Shore Bank Raises Funds For Sevastapol Farmers Who Lost Barn, Livestock in Fire

Fire Fund Festival to Feature Food, Entertainment to Help Raise Money for Bagnall Family

BROOKFIELD, Wis. - North Shore Bank today announced it will hold a fund-raising festival and has established a fund to help John and Kimberlee Bagnall, a local family who recently saw their barn destroyed in a fire. In addition to their barn, the family lost more than 50 milk cows, 9,000 bales of hay and chopped straw.

The Bagnall Farm Fire Festival will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24 at North Shore Bank's Sturgeon Bay East office located at 225 N. 5th Ave. Contributions to the Bagnall Farm Fire Fund, which will help the family with rebuilding and related expenses, can be made at any of North Shore Bank's branches.

"This is a very difficult time for the Bagnall Family," said Mary Leist, branch manager for North Shore Bank's Sturgeon Bay offices. "Although they were able to save some animals, John and Kimberlee lost the majority of their livestock in this fire, and the Bank is determined to do what we can to help them."

The festival will feature food, pumpkins and bake sale items. The bank will be decorated with pumpkins and corn stalks all donated by a local business. In addition, United Methodist Church and a number of local vendors will donate their time and some of the food to the festival, and the Tuba Door band will perform. All profits from the festival will go to the Bagnall Farm Fire Fund.

"The Festival has become a significant effort by friends and neighbors of the Bagnall's, and we are pleased that North Shore Bank can assist," said Leist. "The donations of time, resources and goods from local businesses and volunteers are a true indication of this excellent community."
